Today, I am in a wonderful mood. It could be this ridiculously nice Iowa weather or the fact that it’s the end of the week (both of which make it extremely hard to be productive when I could be on a patio somewhere) And while it’s not a new revelation, today I appreciate more than usual how awesome of people I have in my life. I say it often, maybe not often enough, but I have hands down the best friends and family a girl can ask for.
Over the past seven days, I’ve had the pleasure of catching up with some great friends and B-ri over fantastic meals, phone dates, g-chat conversations, beers on my parents’ patio, Easter eggs paired with whiskey and friendly email banter. I’m constantly surrounded by the great people I am lucky enough to associate with. Many I haven’t seen in a long time (too long of time) but have been reminded of what a great friendships I can be a part of when we pick up where we left off time and time again.
So thanks for being my people, for making my life ten times better than if you weren’t one of my partners in crime. You rock. And I love you. Cheers.
