Customer Service (and chivalry for that matter) is not dead

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of getting what seems to be an annual call from an unknown number. I was out of my office and missed the call... checked the voicemail... "Hello, this is Fraud Protection Services... we've noticed some unusual activity on your account, blah blah blah." Sure enough, some clever criminal grabbed my debit card numbers and went on a spree with a stop at a dive hotel in Missouri. Classy. Last year, "I" was making multiple thousands of dollars of purchases in Sao Paulo, Brazil so "I" am apparently now scaling down my unusual activity.

Having your numbers stolen, your card locked and account frozen is more of a nuisance than anything especially in this seemingly cash-less world, especially when preparing to be gone on a work trip for the next 5 days. That said, I have to give props to my bank Two Rivers Bank & Trust. Unfortunately, I have experience in this area and they are amazing. As always, they rocked on customer service, had the forms filled out for me and covered everything.  I love them.

I know, I know, I'm blogging about my bank and yes, I've had more interesting things happen this week... but they deserve from face time (?) for making this annoyance a little bit better. So if you're bank-searching, make the switch. You won't regret it.

I promise, more interesting things to follow. Cheers to another Friday!
